Welcome to the Arabian Film Days festival, a festival including the newest works from what might be the most underestimated place in the world with regards to filmmaking.

The Arabian world is often in the media’s spotlight. The Arab spring and its consequences represent the greatest and most dramatic changes we have seen in the region since the 1950s and 60s – the decades when the dictators, that we now have seen fall, came to power. However, transition to democracy does not happen overnight. Many people are asking what will happen next – so do we. We are trying to enlighten those developments by mixing brand-new documentaries and feature films from and about the Middle East.
