Arab Evening at Vippa
Experience the Best of Arabic Film, Music, and Food at Vippa!
Arab Film Days, celebrating its 15th edition at Vika Kino from April 2–6, invites you to Arab Evening at Vippa on Friday, April 4. The evening features a rich cultural program, including a short film screening of approximately 60 minutes, followed by a spectacular concert with Atlas Band.
Budour Hassan, Amnesty's researcher on Gaza, and Mariam Kirollos from Amnesty International will give a speech before the screening.

Program for the Evening
- 12:00 – The food stalls Aleppo Bahebek, Marrakech, and others at Vippa open, serving food and drinks throughout the day.
- 19:00 – Screening of four short films (total runtime: 62 min):
- Sheikh’s Watermelons (Tunisia, 23 min)
- The Kiss / Boussa (Algeria, 19 min)
- We Are in Need of Cosmic Help (Egypt, 5 min)
- Bonboné (Palestine, 15 min)
- Approx. 20:00–22:00 – Concert with Atlas Band
Food stalls close at 21:00, bar closes at 23:00.
We look forward to filling Vippa with film, music, and dance! After the short film screening, the celebration continues with Atlas Band, featuring Wassim and Ali on keyboards and Karim on violin. They will be joined by a guest artist from Syria and the dance troupe Tribal Troopers. Expect high energy and a lively atmosphere among the band’s devoted, dance-loving audience!
