After both screenings of FROM GROUND ZERO on Saturday, April 5, Gerard Folkvord from Amnesty will join Rasmi Damo from The Masharawi Fund for a conversation.
The Masharawi Fund was founded in November 2023 by Rashid Masharawi with the aim of supporting filmmakers from Gaza. FROM GROUND ZERO is their first project and is a collection of 22 short films, each running between three and seven minutes. Rasmi Damo works for the fund and is originally from Palestine.
The short films are divided across two screenings, each followed by a 20-minute conversation.
The event is a collaboration with Amnesty Norway.
